AHG Zupps is now seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our friendly administration hub located in Aspley Brisbane. 

We are seeking a dynamic and contemporary Management Accountant to join our team and achieve exceptional results for the business whilst providing the highest level of customer service in the industry. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include the following:

• Overseeing the financial wellbeing of the dealership
• Conducting financial analysis to identify the efficiency and effectiveness of business activities
• Collating dealership financial reporting
• Assist the Financial Controller in maintaining an accurate high level set of accounts
• Monthly preparation / review of balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
• Preparation of end of month management reporting including variance and KPI analysis
• Generation and analysis of monthly / quarterly expenditure reporting
• Asset register maintenance / reconciliation
• Daily cash flow analysis & weekly collections review
• Daily monitoring / escalation of billing issues
• Assistance with management of junior/administration staff members
• Preparation of work papers for year-end audit and half yearly review
• Assistance in design and implementation of new systems and processes to streamline commercial operations as required

You will possess strong management and financial accounting skills and a thorough understanding of accounting procedures and financial analysis within the industry. Most importantly, your experience will have a genuine bias toward sales and have given you an understanding and appreciation of the challenges associated with the day to day operations of a sales organisation. Given the variety of stakeholders involved, first class relationship building skills will be essential to your success in the role as will outstanding time management skills. Previous exposure to the automotive sector will be considered favourably, but is by no means essential.
