The Organisation:
An ASX top 50 listed Energy powerhouse is currently recruiting a Commercial Specialist for a 12 month fixed term contract. This large and complex entity is based in Central Queensland and provides power to the global resources organisations. Although this will be a demanding role, it will be extremely exciting and will allow you to apply your commercial acumen and analysis skills in a way that will help improve operations while mitigating risks.  
 
The Position:
Reporting directly into the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for Asset Management and monthly reporting of all financial and contract KPIs.  You will be working closely with a multitude of senior stakeholders with an operations focus, you will be assisting in the preparation of the annual budgets including forecasting the revenue, opex and capex for all assets. You will be reviewing the pnl and analysing both performance and operational metrics. To truly add value in this role, you will need to be a strong communicator and be capable of meeting tight deadlines. 

The role will be under the FIFO framework.

Your Profile:
To be considered for this position, you should have a strong commercial mindset that will allow you to support the day to day operations of this business. It is critical that you have worked in complex environments and have extremely strong analysis skills. You should have a natural aptitude to take lots of complex information and break it down into information that is usable and relevant to support senior management in making business critical decisions. You will need to demonstrate experience partnering with stakeholders across a business.  You will need extremely strong Excel skills and ideally you will be CPA or CA qualified.
