About the business and the role
Sidelife is a well established retail & wholesale fashion & accessories company based in Byron Bay with 16 stores throughout Australia and New Zealand.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial functions of the business. The position will require a hands on approach to the tasks at hand, including data entry, sound knowledge and experience using Xero and will require at least 3 years experience in a similar role.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- BAS preparation and lodgements
- Prepare management financial reports for multiple entities in Australia and NZ
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all balance sheet reconciliations
- Stock & Inventory reconciliations
- Analyse, monitor and manage cash flow, expenditure and reporting
- International trade transactions & FX.
- Budget preparations and monitoring
Skills and experience
- Degree in Accounting/Business or similar
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent Xero and Excel skills
- Experience using Cin7 would be a bonus, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
