Your Opportunity
EBM are seeking a Payroll Officer to join the Finance team in our West Perth office on a part time basis for an initial 6 month contract. The part time will be five days a week at school hours.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Business, Commerce or Finance whilst not essential, will be highly regarded.
Reporting to the Finance Manager this role will include:
- Monthly payroll reconciliations
- PAYG payments
- Processing Monthly & Fortnightly pays
- Managing the Payroll inbox
- Assisting with iChris/Payroll queries
- On-boarding New Starters
- Staff movements and Terminations
- Salary Reviews
- Superannuation – lodging returns and managing the portal
- Parental Payments
- Assisting with software updates and testing
- Compliance with STP requirements
Your Experience
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years in a similar role looking after payroll in a 360 degree capacity. Must enjoy working in a great team environment and have a collaborative approach to their work. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software will be expected.
