Within this reputable Insurance organisation there has become a role available in their Decision support division. This area is comfortably the highest performing division of the finance team and they require someone who is as comfortable creating value add accounting projections as they are explaining these processes to non-finance stakeholders

This opportunity exists for a highly motivated person to join Group Finance working within a team to prepare Group Financial Performance analysis to the Executive board.

The Role:

This is a strategic role that will offer financial insights to the Financial Planning and Analysis team. These insights will also be used by the executive team, e.g CEO, CFO, EXCO and Board. 

Some of your tasks may include:

  • Performance reporting - analysis of monthly reports across the group 
  • Decision support, analysis and insights on projects
  • Analysis of quarterly revenue forecast, explaining the drivers for forecast changes.
  • Support the implementation of improvement initiatives that increase the efficiency processes and work closely with other teams to deliver improvements.

The right person: 

  • Motivated, driven and ambitious
  • CA/ CPA Qualified
  • Has an ability to engage with people across finance and non-finance positions
  • 2-3 years PQE 
  • An ability to both be a a 'talker and a do-er', you must be able to get engaged in high level process improvement and also explain it in laymens terms.
