You will enjoy a varied role processing & reconciling accounts payable across multiple entities.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:-
- Checking invoices are correctly approved (eg. Job and cost centre)
- Liaising with site foremen to get all invoices in on time and approved correctly
- Entering invoices
- Reconciling invoices with statements, and preparing for payment
- Following up discrepancies, queries, and requests for credit
- Printing cheques, for signing by Directors
- Releasing EFT Payments
- Sub-contractors - Checking insurances are current
- Daily bank balance update – printing of bank statement
- Printing of monthly reports and filing
- Liaising with Financial Controller
- End of Month processing
- Reconciliation of Control Accounts.
To secure this opportunity, you must have previous experience working in a high-volume Accounts Payable position including reconciliation and end-of-month processing; advanced MS Excel skills; good communication skills; and a proactive, organised and collaborative work style.
