In this newly created role the Head of Treasury of an ASX listed financial services firm is looking to bring an additional Analyst to a team of 5. The role is very much an opportunity to join a leading group who are going through a phase of transformation and is seen as a pivotal role in the ongoing growth strategy.

You will be mentored and managed by a credible and supportive leader who will take you on the journey and support you in further development in this role and across the group. Full training will be given and this is not a role where you need to tick all the responsibility boxes. You will however need to be eager to learn, be comfortable talking and problem solving with senior leaders across the business and ideally have an understanding of debt & equity as well as interest rates. The role also includes;

• Financial and business modelling – strong excel skills required
• Debt, equity and interest rate understanding
• Knowledge and understanding of hedging
• Reporting on financial forecasts
• Dashboard formulation and board reporting
• Legal and bank relationship management
• Senior stakeholder management
• Management of 2 junior members of the team

The role would be suitable for someone who has already worked within Treasury or someone making their first move out of the big 4 who has a strong financial services client base.
