My Client is a leading financial institution who is searching for a senior financial analyst to join their team in Sydney. The role was put in place to support the senior management in wealth management, within the delivery of timely, accurate and insightful management reporting
The Role will:
• Support the Senior Manager and Manager to meet the management reporting requirements
• Build strong working relationships with the Business stakeholders and across Finance
• Monitor and report the Performance & Forecasting for the business.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues
• Ensure the integrity of the monthly financial results and raise management accounting journals
• Produce timely, accurate and insightful monthly management reports that clearly align financial performance results against targets
• Analyse and verify actual performance against plan & forecasts and investigate variances
• Resolve issues identified from any reviews.
To be considered for this role you must have.
• Tertiary qualifications in appropriate discipline
• Professional qualifications desirable - CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent
• Demonstrated background in working with others to achieve outcomes
• In-depth knowledge of reporting & operational processes
• Knowledge of modelling skills
• 3-4 years’ experience in a finance and accounting environment.
• Highly developed analytical skills
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Driven to deliver – and a proven track record of achievements
