About the Team
Led by 4 Directors across Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane our Insolvency & Reconstruction team are experts in their field who enjoy the challenge of investigative reporting, acting as statutory trustees, undertaking administrations, liquidations, bankruptcies, receiverships, financial or strategic analysis of business practice (turnaround plans) and the provision of expert testimony. We enjoy a sense of camaraderie, friendship and respect while proactively assisting our clients. Training and Development is also considered a central part to the growth of our future; both the firm’s and our people.
About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth Vincents are seeking an Intermediate Accountant for the Insolvency and Reconstruction Unit in our Canberra office. This role will see you working in a close knit team, dedicated to administering all forms of corporate and personal insolvency and reconstruction matters.
Your responsibilities will see you involved in all forms of corporate and personal insolvencies, including:
- Creditors voluntary liquidation
- Voluntary administrations
- Court Liquidations
- Receiverships
- Bankruptcies
- Part X – Personal Insolvency Agreements
Key Attributes
We look for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Business
- Proven work experience in a similar role
- CA or CPA qualified or in progress
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously, proactively and as part of a team
An attractive remuneration package consisting of salary and superannuation will be negotiated commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
