About the Company
This highly regarded organisation is looking for a technically strong financial accountant to join their team on a minimum of 8-month fixed term contract (with potential for extension) to cover maternity leave. About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager the Financial Accountant role is to take ownership of all aspects of financial reporting.

The responsibilities include:

• Prepare financial results in accordance with accounting standards, company policies and other statutory requirements
• Preparation of the audit pack
• Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
• Preparation of BAS and FBT
• Improve on policies and procedures
• Ad hoc projects as required

About you:
You are a talented CA/CPA qualified accountant with at least 3 years’ experience. You will have strong excel experience (Intermediate to Advanced). This role requires someone who can operate in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
