Payroll & Accounts Officer

FOR IMMEDIATE HIRING

Exciting opportunity exists for an experienced
and qualified Payroll and Accounts Officer to
join our team.
Available to work full-time.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Fortnightly payroll tasks, month end processing and reporting
• Process Superannuation
• Maintain employee records
• General Ledger & Trial Balance
• BAS calculations
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Accounts processing and reconciliation
• General administration duties
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting
• Minimum of solid 3 years payroll and accounts experience — managing accounts, banking and superannuation processing
• Proficient in payroll principles, practices, regulations and procedures with knowledge and good understanding on NES and Fair Work Regulations
• Knowledge of PAYG tax calculations and experience in compliance end of month activities including BAS and ATO requirements
• Strong knowledge or proficient in MYOB and Excel programs are essential
• Knowledge in Attache´ software an advantage
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks within a busy environment
• Well-developed analytical skills and ability to problem solve
• Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and employees
• Team player, a self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Acute attention to details
• Has the ability to teach or share the knowledge and skill set to another team member
• NT Driver’s Licence
