We are seeking an Accountant to support business growth across the Imperium Group. This exciting opportunity will suit an individual who has a business services background and understanding of business structures and taxation. Your financial skills and communication style will support your ability to further grow your expertise and career within Imperium Group.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Balance sheet reconciliations / month end reporting
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Preparation of audit binders
- Preparation of daily cash flow forecasting and reporting
- Calculating statutory payment obligations including BAS, FBT and payroll tax
- Drive budgeting and forecasting process
- Preparation of board reports
- Ad hoc financial analysis
To be successful in this role, you will have the following attributes:
- Degree in Commerce or Business
- Business services background and understanding of business structures and taxation
- Minimum four (4) years' experience as an Accountant, previous hospitality industry experience is highly desirable
- Top 4 experience highly desirable
- CPA/CA qualification (or close to completion)
- Self-directed and hands-on, with a positive can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
