About the Role

Excellent communication, good customer service skills and solid experience in pursuing outstanding debts is required to be successful in this fast paced role. Joining the Company's Finance Division, the Credit Officer will be responsible for pursuing outstanding debts, assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contact customers regarding outstanding debts, obtain payment and log all details
  • Identify and report on delinquent debtors to be referred to a Debt Collection Agency
  • Assist customers by providing them with adequate information to resolve outstanding debts
  • Direct customer queries and disputes to assigned branch personnel to facilitate
  • Participate in Debtors meetings
  • Meet all set targets including daily customer call rates and outstanding debts
