The Role
This role reports directly to an experienced Business Services Manager and the Principal, and primarily involves:
- Preparation and review accounts, tax returns, BAS and FBT returns
- Assisting with providing tax, accounting and structural advice
- Assisting with budgeting and reporting
- Liaising directly with and building relationships with clients
- Assisting on ad-hoc projects including tax advisory and self managed super funds
The successful candidate will have a minimum 1.5 to 2 years Business Services experience, be studying towards their CA and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Your Background
To secure this role you will ideally have:
- Minimum 1.5 years experience in an Australian accounting practice with exposure to trusts, companies, superannuation funds and partnership structures
- Experience in Australian taxation and business services
- Strong software and Excel skills
- A proactive & positive attitude
- The ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
