First Graphene is an ASX Listed advanced materials company seeking to position itself in the lowest cost decile of global graphene suppliers.  It aims to use its competitive advantages to access new technologies and processes and in turn gain maximum leverage to the entire graphene supply chain, from sourcing the raw material to end use, with development of associated intellectual property for licencing and sales.

About the role

Your new role

This varied and challenging role will see you involved in a range of responsibilities, primarily:

• Managing the process of payroll and payroll journals and monthly reconciliation of payroll accounts
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Management of fixed asset register
• Managing month end
• Variance analysis
• Monthly financial reporting
• Assist with ensuring compliance of statutory financial statements with all accounting standards and legislative requirements
• Assist the external auditors when required
• Balance sheet reconciliations Ad hoc reporting as required
• Preparation of BAS, FBT and PAYG

Skills and experience

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualified in an accounting or business degree
• Aspirations to complete CA/CPA Program
• Excellent time management skills
• Advanced Excel preferable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail
