Busy finance team require temporary assistance for an ongoing assignment.
Your new company
Operating out of the Southern Suburbs this successful and exciting manufacturing organisation is seeking an accounts receivable officer to join their busy finance team.
This is a full time role over approximately 6-12 months.
Your new role
As part of a small team reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
- Management of end to end AR process across your own ledger
- Manage collections & debt recovery
- Cash receipting and allocations
- Recording receipts/remittances from customers
- Reconciling statements
- Negotiating payment plans as required
- Weekly debtor reporting
- Raising manual invoices.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven ability in a similar role
- Experience of credit, accounts receivable or similar
- Excellent Excel skills - Pivot Table & V Look up
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive and results driven attitude
- A willingness to ensure process improvements and streamlining
Ideally you will also have an analytical mindset, be driven to succeed and be able to hit the ground running.
