TW Power Services (TWPS) is a leading provider of integrated asset management, operations and maintenance services to the power and energy industry. We work with our customers to achieve their goals by using best-practice systems and processes backed by technically skilled people to deliver project management, outage management and sustaining capital works operations and maintenance services. Our business is growing and we are seeking to add highly skilled and motivated people to our teams.We seek to appoint an energetic and engaged Corporate Accountant to our team based in North Sydney. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and supported by an Assistant Accountant, the Corporate Accountant fosters excellence across the organisation in areas such as payroll, balance sheet reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, costing and billing.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Monthly corporate balance sheet reconciliations with supporting working papers
- Cashflow reporting and cash management- AU and NZ
- Tax compliance-Monthly BAS, FBT and income tax preparation and submissions
- Monthly and Year-end close out including internal and external audit preparation
- Participation in corporate budgeting and forecasting
- Monthly and annual financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordination of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Ad-hoc projects as requested by CFO/GFC
Couple this with;
- Strong technical accounting skills
- CA/CPA/ACCA qualified or nearing completion
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Well rounded interpersonal skills – be able to communicate clearly and concisely
- Knowledge and understanding of a contract/project environment
- Extensive experience with ERP’s – Microsoft AX experience is highly desirable
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently with remote teams
- Able to juggle multiple requests and tasks at any one time
- Audit or business services background is desirable
