About the Role

The Administration Officer is charged with performing a variety of administrative and accounts tasks while providing support to Qld Metro Service Delivery Service team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure administration tasks are completed on time
  • Manage mail merge requests
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing calls are handled efficiently and courteously to reflect the professional image of Endeavour Foundation
  • Complete accruals and regular reconciliations to ensure accurate financial information
  • Receive and process invoices and purchase orders
  • Carry out all receipting and banking of monies to ensure accurate financial accounting practices
  • Maintain and reconcile petty cash in accordance with the policy to ensure funds are available and an audit trail is maintained
  • Maintain keycard register for all services, prepare paperwork for new cards
  • Prepare reports and data for the department
  • Assist with the accounts payable processes to ensure the timely payment of accounts
  • Create and maintain the archive register and archival storage to ensure information and documentation can be located in a timely manner and destroyed as required
  • Carry out regular monitoring and ordering of office stationery to ensure adequate supplies are available at all times

About the person

  • Proven customer service ethic and strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and initiative
  • Experience in a similar role across both accounts and administration
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver to set timeframes
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency across Microsoft packages

Prior to commencing with Endeavour Foundation you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History check. Depending on the role you will hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue card).
