About the role
We are seeking a motivated and confident Advisory Manager to join the Deloitte Private Commercial Advisory practice in Sydney. As an Advisory Manager, you will have proven experience working in a consulting environment with a strong track record demonstrating the delivery of superior quality strategic and operational advisory projects, across a range of sectors and industries.

You will work in small teams, participate in structured training and receive specific coaching designed to support your career development. You will also lead the performance, careers and development of a group of talented junior staff. Your client portfolio will include a range of clients that may range from start up right through to large mature trading business and family offices.

You will lead projects that support the overall team strategy. No two days are the same and you will definitely be stimulated, challenged and always learning!
As part of the Deloitte Private Commercial Advisory team, you will also have access to a number of education and training opportunities which will support and drive career development and growth.

About your experience
An experienced Manager with a passion for developing talent within the team, you will also possess the following skills and attributes:

• Prior Manager-level exposure advising Private clients, ideally within a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
• Proven experience building and leading high performing teams with a service excellence approach
• You will have an accounting or related degree and have completed your CA program or the equivalent
• A naturally inquisitive mindset and desire to understand your client’s overall operations, allowing you to deliver the most impactful outcomes
• An experienced Manager with a passion for developing talent within the team, you will also possess the following skills and attributes:
• Track record in applying strategic problem solving, through qualitative and quantitative analysis;
• Experience in managing complex interactions with internal and external stakeholders;
• Over five years of experience in a consulting environment
