UTS Geophysics is a major participant full-service airborne geophysical surveys provider worldwide, mainly to clients in the mining and mineral exploration industries. Headquartered in Canada, we have existing operations in Western Australia, Canada, South Australia and Brazil.
We can currently offer an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer, to join our Accounting Team.
The key focus, of this Accounts Payable position, is to ensure all accounts are paid accurately and on time.
Job description:
This role represents an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounts payable professional to take ownership of the ledger of clients managing the full function of duties including:
- Working autonomously to ensure that all payable functions follow company guidelines
- Communicating daily with other areas of the accounting team and operation team
- Processing of accounts in preparation of payment;
- Monthly suppliers reconciliations
- Providing a high standard of customer service support and advice, when dealing with queries.
- Data entry, coding, credit card and contracts reconciliations
- Managing all accounts payable queries and
- General office duties
The successful applicant will require:
- Stable employment history;
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills, with attention to detail;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, being comfortable to interact with all levels within the business Experience in using computerised financial systems (QuickBooks) and Excel
- Ability to work autonomously and be highly self directed.
- Excellent time management skills including the ability to prioritise
- Ability to reconcile using Excel
- Accurate data entry skills
