The Opportunity

Our client has been operating for over 60 years and is well established business who works in close partnership to the engineering and construction sectors.  Due to growth within the business, an opportunity for an experienced, motivated Bookkeeper has become available.  In this all-encompassing bookkeeping role, there will also be an opportunity drive process improvement. This role may also suit accountants who are not CA/CPA qualified. 

The Challenge

Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include: 

• End of month reporting and transaction processing
• Preparation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
• Monthly General Ledger Reconciliations.
• Preparation and lodgement of monthly and quarterly BAS.
• Site Analysis including accruals/provisions.
• Cost accounting and stock analysis of materials.

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• At least 4 years Bookkeeping experience within a multi company business environment
• Advanced skills in MYOB, MS Excel and experience with Pronto would be highly regarded
• A friendly and outgoing personality, as you will need to maintain regular contact with non-financial stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, with strong communication skills
