Capital Reporting – Group Regulatory Reporting Specialist
Take your financial services regulatory reporting experience to the next level with a new challenge. Enjoy diverse responsibilities including exposure to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
In this diverse and challenging role, you’ll have management and review of a variety of capital deliverables, as well as exposure to management of risks associated with capital reporting and be responsible for adherence to the control framework. Ultimately - you have the engagement and consultation experience within a data team, business units and have worked with risk management and senior management in the past. Regular and frequent communication with the offshore reporting team will be a key responsibility as well as being able to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and efficiencies. Implementation of new reporting requirements and advising internal stakeholders on reporting requirements and new product approvals will also be required.
You will use your curious mindset to improve operational processes and your strong analytical skills to interpret regulatory requirements within a business context and communicate this to a variety of stakeholders. Experience within financial services with a background in regulatory reporting will also help you hit the ground running in this fast paced environment.
Technical skills and qualifications include a tertiary degree in Accounting or similar, CA qualification or equivalent, financial services as well as regulatory and/or capital reporting experience with compliance and risk exposure being an advantage. Open to Big 4 first time movers who have experience auditing financial services clients.
