On behalf of our client, Rotork Australia, we are recruiting for a full time finance/admin assistant. This role will be based at their head office in Hallam and support the finance and administration team functions.

Assisting the Accountant with the daily operations of the finance and admin team activities, this position requires excellent process, organisational and communication skills that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of AP and AR and the ability to process cashbook transactions. This is a demanding position, often with concurrent activities and conflicting deadlines and you need to be able to function in a past paced office environment.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Experienced in the full scope of Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Monthly processing of corporate credit cards and petty cash
  • Daily cashbook processing
  • Printing and mailing of monthly customer statements
  • Maintain credit control procedure and assist the Accountant to ensure staff follow credit control guidelines
  • Prepare and process shipping files and costings for incoming products
  • General administrative support when required
