The Client
This large Queensland based organization has recently seconded their Senior Accounts Payable Officer to a project position. As such they are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their accounts payable team on a temporary capacity at this stage.
The Role
- Processing a medium volume of invoices through a large ERP system, this role will work in a small team reporting into the Finance Manager:
- Full-function Accounts Payable in a busy environment;
- Processing, coding and matching complex supplier invoices to Purchase Orders;
- Reviewing invoices to ensure that information is properly recorded and gaining appropriate authorisation;
- Reconciliation of Supplier Statements and following up supplier queries;
- Making weekly EFT payment runs in accordance with supplier payment terms;
- Ensuring all required compliance is met & creditors are paid correctly and on time;
- Follow up internal and external contacts for accounts payable information; and
- Assist with managing the AP email inbox and queries.
About You
- Large ERP experience is essential, ie. SAP, Oracle, TechOne;
- Full function Accounts Payable experience;
- Processing at least 60 invoices per day in a specialised AP role;
- Professional presentation;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
- Strong team player attitude.
