The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Corporate Finance Manager will manage and develop a team of 5 Accountants and own the financial reporting responsibilities for the Australian business. This highly visible role will engage and influence with stakeholders at the Executive level as well as internationally throughout the group.
Other tasks aligned to this opportunity will include:
- Ownership of the Balance Sheet and the P&L ensuring accuracy and integrity
- Preparation of the statutory reporting for Australian business (FBT / GST / Payroll tax etc)
- Consolidate the group results and prepare the reporting for management
- Ensure that internal controls and compliance are adhered to
- Review the financial reporting and prepare Analysis on company performance including commentary.
The Successful Applicant
- Will hold a professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA preferred)
- Has strong technical accounting expertise and a sound knowledge of accounting standards.
- Is a natural Leader with a track record of leading high performing finance team/s
- You are an articulate communicator who is proven effective at influencing executive level stakeholders and peers alike.
