This is a newly created position in a rapidly expanding construction industry contractor with operations across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a fast-paced role well suited to someone who enjoys variety in their work day. Managing a small admin team, you will be chiefly responsible for the financial operation of the companies in the group as well as associated HR responsibilities.
- Provide support to the MD in all areas of finance and administration
- Preparation of financial statements, management reports, BAS and PAYG
- Payroll
- Maintain cashflow forecast
- Accounts payable & receivable management
- Reconciliation of accounts and sales
- Manage an admin team with oversight of QA system and licencing
- Manage Workcover claims
- Liaise with industry bodies as needed
- Onboard new employees
- Assist with marketing activities
- Supervise, train and mentor staff members
- Build a team that is capable of growing with the business
