We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who has had sole responsibility for accounting functions in a small to medium business environment, and is also able to carry out some administrative tasks. You will be part of a small, friendly team working out of an excellent office environment. Current requirement is for approximately 24 hours per week which may increase at month end. This can be carried out over 3 full days or spread across the week. Ideally suited to someone who lives close to Brookvale. Immediate start available.
Skills and attributes:
•A certificate in Bookkeeping or accounting
•minimum 5 years experience
•Ability to do all accounting to trial balance
•BAS completion and lodgement
•Experience with MYOB is essential
•Experienced with job costing highly desirable
•Experience with Workflowmax an advantage
•Proficient in excel
•High level of accuracy and attention to detail
•Excellent English verbal and written skills
•Friendly and personable with a can do attitude
Main Duties include:
•Accounts Payable and Receivable
•Journals
•Weekly and Monthly Management Reporting
•Bank Reconciliations including credit cards
•BAS Preparation
•EOFY Reporting
•Payroll
•Phones, reception and meet and greet clients
•General office duties
•Keeping up with HR and award rulings as they affect salaries.
