We are a leading book printing Group in Australia and our business in Maryborough Victoria is looking to fill a full time Assistant Accountant position for an immediate start.
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the effective and efficient processing of accounting data by working closely with both the site team and offsite finance teams.
Examples of duties include:
- Maintain and manage the general ledger
- Maintain and manage AP and AR records and manage debt collection
- Write, maintain and manage records of day-to-day transactions.
- Assist and support internal and external audits as required
- Assist the finance team in preparing budgets, periodic financial statements and records.
- Assist management to prepare cost and financial analysis
- Manage office expenditure within the expenditure budget limits.
