Our Client, a private property group has a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their new team in Brisbane's City Fringe. 

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices, providing general office admin and supporting the payroll process when required. 

You are also responsible for:

• Accurate and timely processing and payment of supplier invoices in accordance with supplier payment terms
• Timely preparation of weekly EFT batches 
• Forecasting
• Maintain and update the Accounts Payable Database to ensure that Supplier details are current, accurate and not duplicated
• Support the Finance Manager and Accountant when required
• Assist or conduct the payroll process when necessary and ensure for a smooth process

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Have prior AND recent experience in accounts payable within Hospitality & hotel/property (minimum 4 years)
• Previous experience in payroll, specifically Award based payments
• Strong Financial/Commercial Acumen
• Experience with MRI is ideal
• Exposure to Payroll and/or Automated Time and Attendance Systems
• Exposure to Visa processing and training/funding arrangements
• Be a highly motivated team player
• Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
