The Opportunity

We are looking for a Manager to join the Kinsella team offering a clear and structured pathway to advancement within the firm and the profession. This career building opportunity is available for the right candidate and is seen as a key position for the future of the firm.

As a Manager you will work with our Senior Management team to deliver innovative business, accounting and taxation solutions in response to client needs. Strong experience in tax and business services with large SME's will ensure you are a valuable addition to our firm.

The preferred candidate will bring a combination of experience within public practice along with a commitment of continual learning and personal development. Additionally, this position offers the ongoing opportunity to work on a challenging and diverse client base. Specific examples of the experience you will require to be able to successfully perform the duties in this role include:

• Preparation of relevant, accurate and timely reviews of all work prepared by accountants;
• Support other Managers and Directors to achieve their tasks. Can perform complex assignments for Directors;
• Preparation of complex client advisory work with limited direction;
• Strong technical tax (direct and indirect) knowledge in matters applicable to the SME market;
• Research and prepare accurate advice to clients on a variety of technical matters, compliance and planning issues including the preparation of accurate and timely tax planning.
• Review of job budgets, monitoring of WIP and adherence to the firm’s workflow process. Approve fees with accurate and appropriate narratives demonstrating a commercial approach.
• Manage client fee base including management of client relationships, WIP, leading multiple new projects and quality assurance.
• Adequately services all clients including achieving key client work by target dates, suggest and/or initiate ways to improve client processes.
