ROLE:

An opportunity exists for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the Sydney business. Reporting to the Office Manager this role forms an integral part of the Commercial team.

Some main duties will include:

High volume end-to-end accounts payable duties.
Action fortnightly and monthly payment runs.
Reconciliation of supplier and subcontractor accounts.
Processing high end volume of invoices.
Matching approved purchase orders with incoming creditor and supplier invoices.
Managing supplier queries and working with team members to resolve issues.
Backing up reception duties such as forwarding phone calls, greeting visitors and setting up the meeting room when necessary.

Other roles and responsibilities will be discussed at interview and this may also include specific project information for site based roles.

YOU:

TECHNICAL:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have 2 or more years’ experience and understand the end-to-end procedure for the processing of invoices. You will need good communication skills including the ability to build effective working relationships across the business with an outgoing personality that has strong attention to detail. Applicants with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is desired as is NAV but not essential.
