A leading company based in Sydney CBD are currently looking to add a Tax specialist to their team on the back of a highly successful financial year last year. 

This role provides a great opportunity for a mover out of Big 4/ Mid tier firm looking to make their first move in to a commercial tax specialist role. 

Tax Compliance

• Assist with preparation of income tax returns
• Assist with transfer pricing calculations and documentation requirements
• Assisting with tax authority requests and audits
• Preparation business activity statements (BAS) 
• Ad hoc project work including HR/mobility related, due diligence, customs duty, TP/PE issues
• Prepare thin capital calculations in Aus & NZ
• Assist with R&D claims and other grants, tax credits or incentives
• Completion of ABS and other surveys
• Where appropriate, identify opportunities to streamline or improve processes.

Tax Accounting

• Review of the Tax effect accounting schedules each month
• Prepare reconciliations of differences between statutory accounting and tax provisions/returns
• Preparing note disclosures in statutory accounts surrounding tax

The ideal candidate for this role will be: 

• CA/CPA Qualified
• 2+ years in Big 4 or Mid-Tier practice or equivalent corporate role
• Great communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders
