ACT Bookkeeping Pty Ltd is a long established bookkeeping practice located at the Erindale Business Park in Wanniassa, providing high quality services using the Pure Bookkeeping System to empower business owners in their financial matters.

We are seeking qualified, motivated and experienced Bookkeepers initially for 15 to 20 hours per week, to join our professional, dynamic team on part time basis. You will be either Registered or progressing towards Registration as a BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board.

Working closely alongside clients and their Accountants your key responsibilities include:
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Staff payroll
• Superannuation

• Bank reconciliations
• GL Reconciliations
• BAS and IAS returns

• Contractor Payment Reporting

• Annual PAYG Payment Summaries & Reports

• Cash flow analysis
• Generation of financial reports

The ideal candidate will be mature minded, have excellent communication & people skills, be a self starter, work in an autonomous environment and must have the following attributes:

• Be able to demonstrate a comprehensive bookkeeping experience using MYOB, Quickbooks Online  or Xero

• Demonstrated Advanced MYOB skills, QB certification or be a Certified Xero Partner

• Demonstrated Experience in preparing BAS/IAS

• Excellent computer skills e.g. MS Word, Excel, etc
• Certificate IV Bookkeeping, working towards or higher

• Be accurate and efficient with a passion for attention to detail
• Be organised and reliable
• Demonstrated Ability to meet deadlines

• Demonstrated proven ability to problem solve
• General office administration experience
• Be fluent in written and spoken English with confident and friendly manner

• Work in a team environment or alone

• Must have a current Drivers License and reliable vehicle.

Current membership to Registered BAS Associations highly desirable
