The Company

We are working with a large ASX Listed Organisation, who are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join the team. This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, within the Homebush region within close vicinity to trains and busses.

The Role

As the Payroll Manager, you will be managing a team of Payroll Officers, leading and driving the team successfully to a recent growth phase. Your prior Payroll experience will see you being able to perform the following tasks, but not being limited to:

  • Managing and driving a team of Payroll Officers to ensure SLA’s are maintained
  • Be hands on with Month End, Management Reporting and maintaining dashboards
  • Proactively resolving complex payroll related queries
  • Be actively involved with auditors, overseeing projects to drive results
  • Manage Payroll integration between Business Units
  • Work closely with Corporate Finance team to maintain and manage budgets
  • Promote a positive culture within the team and be able to create a collaborative team environment
  • Drive changes within the business and the team to support a new Shared Services Model

The Successful Candidate

To be considered for this position, you will have at least 5 years’ experience as a full function Payroll Manager, desirably within a large organisation, managing a large team. You will be a collaborative leader, be results orientated and be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills. Other attributes required for this position will include:

  • Prior experience within a Shared Services Model, highly advantageous
  • Must have experience and understanding of EBAs, Enterprise Agreements
  • Strong collaborative leaderships skills are a must as well as being able to proactive drive a team to success
  • Excellent numeric, communication and written skills
  • Demonstration of prior project management
  • Be highly organised, be a quick thinker, strong problem solver and have an analytical mindset

Great opportunity to be working for a large, forward thinking organisation located close to the train station and busses, however, parking on site can be arranged. Our client is seeking a committed and experienced Payroll Manager to come on board on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract and be remunerated between $100 - $110k + super.
