The Company
We are working with a large ASX Listed Organisation, who are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join the team. This is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, within the Homebush region within close vicinity to trains and busses.
The Role
As the Payroll Manager, you will be managing a team of Payroll Officers, leading and driving the team successfully to a recent growth phase. Your prior Payroll experience will see you being able to perform the following tasks, but not being limited to:
- Managing and driving a team of Payroll Officers to ensure SLA’s are maintained
- Be hands on with Month End, Management Reporting and maintaining dashboards
- Proactively resolving complex payroll related queries
- Be actively involved with auditors, overseeing projects to drive results
- Manage Payroll integration between Business Units
- Work closely with Corporate Finance team to maintain and manage budgets
- Promote a positive culture within the team and be able to create a collaborative team environment
- Drive changes within the business and the team to support a new Shared Services Model
The Successful Candidate
To be considered for this position, you will have at least 5 years’ experience as a full function Payroll Manager, desirably within a large organisation, managing a large team. You will be a collaborative leader, be results orientated and be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills. Other attributes required for this position will include:
- Prior experience within a Shared Services Model, highly advantageous
- Must have experience and understanding of EBAs, Enterprise Agreements
- Strong collaborative leaderships skills are a must as well as being able to proactive drive a team to success
- Excellent numeric, communication and written skills
- Demonstration of prior project management
- Be highly organised, be a quick thinker, strong problem solver and have an analytical mindset

Our client is seeking a committed and experienced Payroll Manager to come on board on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract and be remunerated between $100 - $110k + super.
