The Company
With a very strong reputation in professional services, our client is well respected and offer a down to earth but highly professional culture. Following an exciting period of growth, they now have an immediately available position in their Credit team.
The Role
This fast paced and busy role is located in Mckinnon. This position is well suited to an experienced Credit Controller/Officer in a medium size business environment, who is looking to take the next step up into a larger business. Reporting directly to the Credit Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Building relationships and negotiating payments
- Managing an allocated portfolio of major clients
- Initiate and coordinate daily collection activity
- End of month reporting
- Preparing and sending correspondence to debtors
- Monthly reconciliations
- Risk analysis
- Ad hoc support to Credit Manager as required
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in a similar role
- Experience in a medium to large business
- Experience using a large ERP system
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a high volume and deadline driven environment
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond
- A passion for customer service
