The PwC People team bring this to life by providing exceptional service in processing our payroll and people transactions as well as the timely and accurate resolution of any payroll and people related queries. Working collaboratively with other Finance & Business Services teams, we inspire business confidence by working with our stakeholders to ensure the service we provide is not just about numbers but also provides the optimal balance between efficiency, control and accuracy.
 
Presently we have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our Sydney team.
 
Success in this role does come down to a positive attitude, hard work and going the extra mile, but that's not all! As a key contact for internal clients you will support with:
  • General payroll processing.
  • Processing departure calculations.
  • Build and generate reports from Chris21.
  • Analyse data from reports and provide insight to stakeholders.
  • Answering helpdesk queries from stakeholders (Business Finance, In-house Tax Team, other Finance teams etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, company policy and data confidentiality regarding payroll data.
  • Assisting with any adhoc enquiries.
About you
The brief is simple...
 
You have 3 - 5 years Australian payroll experience, a solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation (including state-specific legislation) as well as knowledge of employment tax law; and demonstrated capability of implementing process improvements including documentation management. You have advanced excel skills - including pivot tables, vlookups, IF statements and experience using the Chris21 payroll system. You're passionate about payroll and an exceptional communicator.
