Mars Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior/Supervisor on behalf of a boutique advisory firm based in the northern suburbs.
This firm has been operating for over 20 years and is very well established in Perth. They have a very strong focus on client service and providing high end tax advice.
Role:
You will be required to manage your own portfolio of clients, as well as some of the staff, review their work and conduct training sessions. This firm focuses more so on the advisory side with a small to mid-cap client base averaging $1m-40m turnover. You will also be involved with handling the more complex compliance work such as preparing financial statements and tax returns for trusts, partnerships and companies; Conducting tax planning, managing & reviewing FBT & BAS; Preparing annual budgets and cash flow forecasts; Researching various matters as requested or necessary; Liaising with clients, ATO and other organisations as relevant and needed;
Requirements:
- Hold at least 5 years Australian tax and business services experience
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience dealing directly with clients is essential
- Experience with Xero and XPM desirable
- Hold a very strong client service attitude
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Hold working rights for Australia
