About the role
The role will primarily focus on XERO bookkeeping duties for our own internal company accounts, as well as a handful of external customers who rely on us to delivery their monthly bookkeeping and reporting. We anticipate growing the client facing aspect of this role, and therefore would like someone able to take ownership and help support us in building out this service further.
The role will also involve day to day support for our other services, including company formation, trust formation, business registrations, and office administration. The role is varied and represents a great opportunity to learn from knowledgeable staff.

Skills and experience
- End-to-end bookkeeping processes
- Technology savvy
- Xero and other cloud software tools
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally
- Bookkeeping/Accounting experience and/or tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, data entry and record keeping, bank reconciliation, BAS, superannuation and general administrative duties highly desirable.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft office, particularly Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive can do attitude.
- Be self-motivated, reliable, structured and well organised.
- Possess the ability to work as part of a team, under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- The ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
- The confidence and willingness to embrace challenges and learn new competencies
- Experience working with ASIC and compliance compliance obligations a bonus.
