Undergraduate Accountant
BRI Ferrier Western Australia is the Perth representative office of one of a national affiliation boasting an office in every state specialising in insolvency and reconstruction work. We are looking for a part time employee (2-3 days per week) who is currently undertaking a Business Degree with an accounting major.
As an undergraduate accountant, we will offer you a wide variety of exposure across the business reconstruction and insolvency fields.
As part of your role you will perform the following duties:
- General office duties including banking and filing
- Liaising with clients including resolving client queries
- Workflow and document management
- General Accounting duties
- Assist with investigations and statutory requirements of files under our control
Ideally, the successful candidate will be a first or second year university student and will need to possess the following skills and attributes:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised
- Well presented, neat and tidy
- Ability to work undirected, yet can take direction when needed
- Responsible and proactive
- Friendly, team player
- Computer literate: Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
