About the Company

Our client is a global retail company who pride themselves on their fun, social and dynamic culture. Due to a reallocation of work, there is a current need in their Brisbane Office for a temporary Credit Officer for 6 months with potential for a more permanent arrangement.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with debt reduction and collection of receivable balances in accordance to agreed credit terms
• Identify potential risks and be responsible for notifying the Managers
• Responsible for ongoing management of credit risk for new and existing accounts
• Communicating with all stakeholders with professionalism and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Negotiations and dispute resolution with customer payment plans
• Maintain updated vendor files and file numbers
• Liaise closely with Accounts Receivable and Senior Credit Officers

About You

Proven experience in an Accounts role in a large business is desirable for this role. You will be committed to working as part of the team, and have a fantastic proactive nature and a can-do attitude.

• At least 5 years’ experience in an accounts role
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Superior customer service and dispute resolutions skills
• Ability to work to KPI's and exceed them
• Be able to hit the ground running in a high volume environment
• Highly organized and be able to work to deadlines
• Independent and able to work with minimal supervision
