An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Manager for our Accounting and Tax Compliance team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Tax the successful candidate will provide financial information to clients of the Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client portfolio for the International Accounting and Tax Team
- Manage three direct reports
- Preparation and review of tax compliance deliverables including Business Activity Statements, Income tax returns, FBT returns, ESS, Country by Country reporting and CRS
- Preparation and review of monthly/quarterly management reports
- Preparation and review of statutory and non-statutory accounts for year end
- Ensure client work and internal work is completed within budgeted time
- Manage new client on-boarding process including preparation of on-boarding plan, analysis and planning of operational needs/resources and implementation
- Assist in the preparation of client proposals
- Assist with Business Development (BD) opportunities
- Liaise with clients, auditors, banks, suppliers and The Australian Taxation Office as required
- Liaising with TMF office network as required in delivery of services, client billing and WIP management.
In order to be considered for the Manager role you will possess the following:
- Degree holder with recognised accounting qualification or business related disciplines
- Minimum 5-8 years relevant experience, with minimum 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in Business Services preferable
- Completed Professional qualifications in CA/CPA or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of local systems (preferably MYOB, XERO)
