This fixed term position (18months), Reporting to the Head of Finance and Shared Services, the Accounts Assistant, you will work with the Seqirus Financial Accountant on various tasks including treasury, financial accounting/reporting and month end activities. You will be supporting the team with day to day finance activities, month end processes and other special projects as required. Key Responsibilities of the role include the following:

• Preparation of accruals and prepayments
• Intercompany reconciliation – both Seqirus & CSL for monthly reporting, forecasts & budgets.
• Support full account reconciliations and monthly analysis by GL, including identifying and clearing reconciling items.
• Preparation of monthly journals ensuring appropriate back-up.
• Support the preparation of information to ensure external audit requirements are met and provide analytical analysis as required.
• Raise ad hoc manual invoices and ensure accurate GL allocation.
• Raise Intercompany and Intragroup invoices and ensure accurate GL allocation.
• Prepare monthly intercompany/intragroup cash flow remittance files.

Tertiary level qualification in accounting, finance or business related field is preferred. As a positive and proactive individual, you possess excellent analytical skills with a focus on delivering financial targets and you are able to manage multiple deliverables within tight timeframes.
