The Business

Our client is a large ASX listed business operating nationally with a strong presence in NSW.  They are currently experiencing a period of growth and development and as such see a need to bring in a high calibre IT Finance Manager to support the senior stakeholders initially on a 12-month contract.

The Opportunity

In this role you will predominantly partner the General Manager - IT on:

• Commercial decision support on business issues and opportunities
• Performance oversight and reviews for the division and how improvement can be made
• Management of the budget and performance process
• Prepare financial analysis for management decision making 
• Manage and develop the team to engage them in the business and assist you to service the stakeholder group effectively 

In addition to this you will be working on any ad-hoc project work as required by management, both financial and non-financial.

The Candidate

As the successful for this position you will have extensive experience partnering senior stakeholders both finance and non-finance specifically IT, you will be CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent) and have ran the full budget process for large business or business unit.  You must be an excellent communicator and rapport builder given the diverse stakeholder group you will be responsible for.  You must be a hands on leader that enjoys developing a team.
