The Company

Based in the Northern Suburbs (circa 20km from the CBD), our client is a highly regarded, well established and strong performing logistics organisation in a constantly evolving industry. They place strong emphasis on the development of their staff and maintaining a positive and sustainable business culture. They now have a need to take on an immediately available Accounts Receivable Officer for a 2 - 3 week temporary role. 

The Role

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of a high performing Finance team. Key tasks will include:

- Ensure invoices are billed and receipted accurately and on time 
- Develop and maintain accounts transaction information and records 
- Monitor accounts receivable processing activities 
- Identify and implement process improvements 
- Input and process journal entries when required 
- Assist with month end close 
- Reconciliation of accounts and adjustments to journal entries 
- Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and audit 
- Handle internal and external queries 
- Ad hoc tasks as required

The Candidate

With a strong background in Accounts Receivable, the successful candidate will be immediately available and ideally have previous exposure to a large ERP system. You will have the capacity to take initiative, work independently and foster a strong culture of customer service. With highly developed interpersonal skills you will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
