ONA Coffee is in a period of rapid growth and we are seeking an experienced finance professional, for the role of Chief Financial Controller, to join our passionate, dedicated and hard-working team.
About the Role
ONA Coffee is looking for a financial controller to manage our diverse operations: ONA Coffee Wholesale, Project Origin and the ONA Coffee Retail Group (cafes.) The role is challenging and you will be a key part of the management team; reporting directly to the CEO. Some of the key components of the role are as follows:
Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting
High-level financial reporting and analysis
Regular budget consolidation
Cash flow management
Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
Stakeholder management
Debt management and collection
Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
Payroll processing
Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
We will ensure you are supported through external training and will have access to independent accountants and lawyers, where assistance is needed.
Requirements
Background in a similar style position or senior business services role
CA/CPA is essential
Ability to manage the monthly and year end reporting processes and use your analytical skill set to offer insight into future business direction and strategic focus – working closely with external accountants
Excellent attention to detail
Provide financial advice and work closely with the CEO and General Manager
Leadership skills in both team and stakeholder management (financial institutions) in driving process improvements
Ability to manage and help our junior staff grow
The role is a full-time position based in Fyshwick ACT
