About the company
Located in Mount Gravatt, you will join a well-established, boutique accounting firm specialising in business services. The firm has two partners and 10 staff.
About the role
You will join the firm as a Senior Accountant and have regular client contact. In your first six months, the role will be compliance focused whilst you familiarise yourself with their client base. You will then be given the opportunity to manage your own client base, attend regular client meetings as well as offer value-add advisory services.
Duties include but are not limited to
- Preparation of tax returns, financial statements and BAS;
- Occasional bookkeeping for clients;
- Meet with clients to offer tax planning and advice; and
- Mentor and train junior accountants.
Skills required for the role
- Relevant degree and CA / CPA qualification;
- Minimum four-years’ experience in a similar role within an accounting firm; and
- Bookkeeping experience preferred but not essential.
Benefits and remuneration
- Salary between $65,000 - $75,000 package depending on experience;
- All professional membership fees paid;
- Parking available; and
- Flexible hours can be considered.
