An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced, self-motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team in Ingleburn who will bring a "hands on" approach to the role.
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this position will manage all aspects of AR for 3 companies, 2 of which are offshore. As a result, working hours are 6am to 2pm to accommodate different time zones.
Your key AR and administrative responsibilities will include:
- Collect debtors within customer credit terms;
- Manage and process complex rebates and customer claims on a timely basis
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies with customers
- Process receipts and reconcile to bank statements daily
- Call and write demands for payments
- Prepare weekly aged debtors reports and analysis
- Reconcile aged debtors to the control account monthly
- Provide input into brokers commission calculation
- Liaise with sales teams regularly on performance of the customers
- Maintain customer master data files
The successful candidate will be flexible, have good business acumen and a superior attention to detail. Good communication skills and tenacity are essential in this fast-moving environment. All candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years in a similar role. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
