Your new company
This small Government Agency is seeking a skilled individual with an aptitude for working is a high volume Chris21 payroll environment where you will often perform a variety of different tasks on a day to day basis.
Your new role
The right candidate will have a plethora of knowledge relating to end to end payroll, within this role you will perform a variety of tasks inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- End to end payroll processes
- Checking rates for permanent and temporary staff
- Processing leave entitlements
- Working across multiple awards
- Superannuation calculations
- Interoperating multiple EA Agreements
- Work in a help desk function to provide guidance and solutions to queries and issues
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have the ability to perform the above listed skills to a high standard and will have previous experience in the Chris21 payroll. You must also possess good written and oral skills as well as the ability to lead and manage a small team of staff.
Experience of work within the Australian Federal Government is a necessity, knowledge of the Chris 21 Payroll system is desired but candidates that poses knowledge of other payroll systems are also encouraged to apply. You will also need to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of APS conditions of service and enterprise agreements.
To be eligible for this role you must be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (Baseline, NV1 or NV2 ) personnel security clearance.
