Our client is a successful medical supplies wholesaler and distributor with offices around the globe. They have just moved into some beautiful purpose-built offices and warehouse on the north end of the Gold Coast. They continue to grow at a rapid pace and have exciting times ahead.

Due to an increase in business there has now become an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to support the Financial Controller. Working within the accounts team your responsibilities will include -
  • Accounts payable processing
  • Balance sheet and General Ledger reconciliations
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Journal entries
  • Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Basic reports
  • Debtor management
  • BAS and FBT returns
  • Foreign exchange
To be successful in this role you will have an accounting degree and experience as an Assistant Accountant. You will enjoy reconciling and investigating to identify and solve queries. You will have experience with an ERP system (Netsuite preferable). One of the key criteria for this role is attitude - you will be happy to tackle complex tasks which require initiative but also enjoy rolling up your sleeves and helping out.
