Client Details
Our client is a busy manufacturing multinational company in Condell Park. They are seeking an experienced assistant accountant who has a professional and friendly manner, excellent Excel skills, communication skills and staff realtion skills. Knowledge in MoveX and SQL is an added advantage.
Description
- Supporting the day to day accounting responsibilities in the finance division
- Assisting in month end processes and monthly and yearly reporting
- General ledger and bank reconciliations
- Assisting in the budget process and cash flow forecasting
- Ensure compliance of statutory accounts in regard to all relevant accounting standards and legislative requirements
- Update financial statements and Preparation of Balance sheet and Profit and Loss statements on a monthly basis
- Post daily and monthly journal entries
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in finalisation of monthly accounts
- Calculate payroll taxes
- Creating and maintenance of fixed asset register
- Assisting in the budget process and cash flow forecasting
- Assist in the development of financial models
- Involvement in projects and ad hoc duties
Profile
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting
- CA / CPA (qualified or part qualified)
- 2 years relevant work experience
- Team Leadership success
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proven expertise in MS Excel
- MoveX and SQL knowledge is preferred
- At least 2 years of work experience within the manufacturing and production industry
- Immediate start
